To help ensure the maximum security and availability of this critical service, we have implemented a number of best practices, including:
The registration of our management domain through a domain registrar that is not used to provide our primary CDN or cloud services, allowing us to transfer authorative control of our DNS to another operator if our primary CDN provider experiences issues
The established relationship with both a primary CDN provider (Cloudflare), as well as a second undisclosed provider, and the ability to quickly activate the second provider and switch operational services thereto in the event of a disruption to the primary provider
The established relationship with both a primary cloud unfractured provider (AWS), as well as a second undisclosed provider, and the ability to quickly transition all operational services to the secondary provider in the event of a disruption to the primary provider
A modern container based application architecture, with sufficient backups and synchronization to provide mimimum disruption and loss of data during the activation of the secondary infrastructure provider
