Roles & Permissions

Built-in Roles

CryptoRouter includes several built-in Roles. These Roles cannot be edited, but with limited exception, you are free to create and use exclusively your own Custom Roles.

• ENTERPRISE ADMINISTRATOR - Has unrestricted access to all elements of the platform. This is the only role with the ability to manage Users, Roles and Technicians, and any authentication related elements of the system. This role should be extremely limited and only assigned to those personnel whose responsibilities require their having universal access, such as members of the organizations IT department. Can only be applied Globally, cannot be applied Limited.

• SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - Has configuration and reporting access to all elements of the platform, and along with the Enterprise Administrator, is the only role with the ability to manage organization wide settings like Device Profiles, Pool Profiles, Password Profiles, and Configuration Profiles, but cannot manage Users, Roles and Permissions, or other authentication related elements of the system. This role is intended to be assigned to those personnel primarily responsible for the management and administration of the system. Can only be applied Globally, cannot be applied Limited.

• NETWORK MANAGER - Has configuration and reporting access to all network related elements of the platform. This role is intended to be assigned to personnel who are responsible for the management and administration of the networking related elements of your operation.

• NETWORK TECHNICIAN - Has operational level control and reporting access to all network related elements of the platform. This role is intended to be assigned to personnel responsible for the day to day operations of the networking related elements of your operation.

• MINING MANAGER- Has configuration and reporting access to all mining related elements of the platform. This role is intended to be assigned to personnel who are responsible for the management and administration of the cryptocurrency mining related elements of your operation.

• MINING TECHNICIAN - Has operational level control and reporting access to all mining related elements of the platform. This role is intended to be assigned to personnel who are responsible for the day to day operations of the cryptocurrency mining related elements of your operation.

• AUDITOR - Has view level and reporting access to all elements of the platform. This role is intended to be assigned to personnel whose responsibilities require their validation of the configuration or operation of the network, but do not need the ability to make modifications to the settings or operational state of the network.
